After more than a quarter of a century in the distillery business, Jan and Růženka Kleiner decided to focus on a completely different type of fruit processing than its long-term fermentation with subsequent distillation. For 10 years, they subcontracted various types of almond liqueurs to Hustopeče. During this period, they felt that they should try to develop their own product, but at a higher quality level – a purely natural almond liqueur without synthetic ingredients. Since there was no such purely natural product on the market at that time, the Kleiner couple had to embark on a journey of discovery, during which they were greatly inspired by the Mediterranean ratafia with a more than thousand-year-old tradition of production. The great theater of Mother Nature, which surprises us every day with its colorfulness, offers us endless possibilities to use her gifts simply and purely, without synthetic or other preservatives.

The liqueur is balanced, never cloudy and beckons you to take another sip. The aftertaste of sweet almonds is felt gently in the finish and is a real pleasure for your palate.

The original area of occurrence of the sour cherry was in southeastern Europe, western Asia and northern India. Through cultivation, it spread throughout the world. It grows in temperate climates.

Almond sour cherry is an excellent aperitif in itself.
